An audition will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre production of SLEEPING BEAUTY Monday, July 8, 2024, at The Braumart from 10 am to 12 noon. All those auditioning should arrive at 9 am and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Among the roles to be cast are Sleeping Beauty; Scarella; Madame Butterfly; the King; the Queen; Spot; Fairies; Trolls; Palace Attendants; and Caterpillars. Students 1st through 12th grade, are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week, and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.

The Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, and props. The MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 10 am to 2:15 pm each day.

SLEEPING BEAUTY will be presented on Saturday, July 13 at The Braumart. The Missoula Children's Theatre residency in Iron Mountain is brought to you by Friends of the Braumart with support from volunteer donors.

There will be a $40 fee for those who participate in the week-long workshop.
